Notes on life expectancy

Today in class we went over this:
Life expectancy is how long a person a person is going to live. Birth rate how many birth per thousand. Death rate is how many deaths out of 1,000. RNI is the birth rate minus the death rate. The population of the planet has grown a lot over the last 50 years.  TFR is the average number of kids being born to a woman. The TFR for a country needs to maintain 2.1 for the population to stay the same.  Migration rate is the number of people entering or leaving your country, measured by 1,000. why do people migrate? push and pull factors. population pyramid is the number of how many people in different age groups.
